There are many designated quiet areas throughout the Pere Marquette State Forest which make for excellent bird watching sites. - Morel Hunting
Morel hunting is great fun for the whole family. Similar to the easter egg hunts, the morels are carefully hidden by mother nature throughout the Pere Marquette state forest. - Fall Colors
Fall is a great time of year to spend time at the "Ranch". Take a horseback ride high up into the ridge overlooking the Boardman River and Pere Marquette State Forest to see the colors at their fullest.
