Campground
When staying with us as an overnight guest you get some great perks such as discounted guest rates on our activities-horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing; complimentary access to the grounds including the heated outdoor swimming pool, ping pong, horseshoes, basketball, and archery; and the option to add a meals package to your stay. All campsites have a fire pit, picnic table, water, and electric hook-ups and there is a central bath house with showers.
You can request specific site numbers, but please keep in mind that campsites are assigned based on what it is you are camping in. For example, some sites are better suited for tents while others can easily accommodate RV’s and motor homes and we reserve the right to change site numbers in order to accommodate everyone.
Wood and bagged ice are available for purchase at the general store or front desk.
Well behaved dogs are allowed in the campground. They must be on a leash or with the owners at all times and not running freely.
Prices are based on 1 unit per site. Additional tents per site are an additional $10 per tent per night. There is a maximum of 3 units allowed per site (either 1 trailer and 2 tents or 3 tents). Please note that a screen tent used for eating purposes does not count as an additional tent, but a child’s tent does.
Prices are also based at up to 6 people per site. If you exceed 6 people on your site there is an additional charge of $3 per person per night. The maximum number of people allowed per site is 10.
Quiet hour is 11pm. If campsites are disruptive to other guests due to noise they will be given 1 warning and if noise persists they will be asked to leave without refund.
Check-in for the campground is 1pm and check out is noon. If you have a reservation and will be arriving after 5pm we ask that you call us to get your check in procedure.
In order to make a reservation please call 231-947-9529 and ask for camping reservations. We will need a Visa or Master Card number to hold and unless stated differently at time of reservation, we do have a 72 hour cancellation policy. Should you change or cancel your reservation at least 72 hours before your check in date, you are charged only a $10 processing fee. Should you cancel within 72 hours of your check in date we will charge you the total rate for your reserved campsite, unless we can re-rent the site, at which point there will be a $20 processing fee applied. Early check-outs will not result in any refund of total price. **Please note, group reservations have a different cancellation policy. Please ask for details at time of booking.**
